Erinn Peet Lukes and Noah G. Fowler met as fellow singer-songwriters in Nashville, forming their duo during the pandemic. Erinn played for us a couple years back as the lead singer of Thunder and Rain, her bluegrass quartet from the Boulder area. Our audience responded to her in a big way. With the band, Erinn toured the US, Ireland, and the UK over its seven-year run. That bluegrass influence helped to shape her flatpicking chops, which complement her lilting voice and the vivid lyrics and catchy melodies she writes.
Noah followed a similar musical path. After growing up in suburban Pennsylvania, he attended the prestigious Berklee College of Music before traveling and performing along the east coast, eventually settling in Nashville. Noah's songwriting is folkloric, drawing heavily from Appalachian and Celtic storytelling traditions as well as the 60’s folk revival and many of Texas’s storytelling songwriters. Noah plays both guitar and bass to flesh out the tasty acoustic duo that is Erinn Peet Lukes and Noah G. Fowler.
Come join us tomorrow evening as Erinn and Noah bring their special brand of music to our little stage in the woods. Our summer concerts will all feature pre-show music jams on the back deck, and we'll have tasty BBQ dinners available for sale.
Pre-Show Back-Deck Music Jams As in past years, we'll be holding jams before our shows in the summer months of June through August. This year, we'll jam on the back deck of our little concert hall. For all the details: www.tbras.org/jams
Pre-Show BBQ! This summer, we're partnering with the good folks at Firehouse BBQ to bring their delicious smoked meats and sides starting at around 5:00 pm. Come join us for an al fresco dinner and an evening of great music!
